About the project
Creating a better commuter experience
Our project is focused around creating a new, streamlined vehicle storage system that can be more easily managed and makes the commuting process easier on both students and faculty. Right now, many commuter students face difficulties getting into campus, finding parking, and getting into class on time. Students who have to take the bus may have to plan their schedules around inconvenient bus times and bike commuters are greatly affected by the weather. Even when bikers get to campus, there aren’t always covered storage spaces for their bikes in locations convenient to them. Our goal is to create a new, unified digital interface where commuters can register for parking spaces, bikers can locate the best parking spot for their classes, bus riders can keep better track of the bus schedules and more, improving the state of transportation to and around campus.
Client
Our primary clients are students, both undergraduate and graduate, who commute into campus whether by car, bus, bike, or some other means of transportation. This includes students that live close to campus but still off campus as well as those who are further away, effectively any student who does not have on campus housing.
